Pastor Mark established Joy Love Church in April 2022 after 30 years of ministry as a pastor for children, youth, college students, and adults at Korean American Churches.
Pastor Mark was born in Seoul, Korea, and immigrated to the United States when he was 12 years old. He committed himself to serve God as a full-time minister when he was in 10th grade. He has been faithfully serving God ever since then.
He attained his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Literature at Northwest University in Kirkland, WA. He then completed his Master of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago and became an ordained minister under the Korean American Presbyterian Church (KAPC).
Pastor Mark is happily married to his wife, Joyce, and the two have a dog named Max. He loves to read and study God’s Word, and he preaches the Word in a practical way to his congregation. He also has a deep affinity for missions and strongly believes in the power of prayer. Pastor Mark enjoys jogging, eating food, and watching documentaries during his free time.
